The HX801/HX802 is a complete relative humidity sensing module, with a loop powered 4 to 20mA output signal, representing 0 to 100% RH. Wall mounted and duct mount versions are available. Both versions come complete in an industry standard aluminum connection head. The relative humidity sensor and temperature compensating sensor protrude from the head inside a protective cap. This cap allows air to circulate to the sensors.
All units are designed for ease of servicing. The protective cap can be easily removed for cleaning if it becomes clogged with dust or removed for replacement if damaged. The humidity and temperature sensors are mounted on their own circuit board, which plugs into the main HX801 transmitter board. This means the sensors may be replaced if they are ever damaged, without the cost of a whole replacement unit. The wide operating range of the humidity and temperature sensors offers long term reliability over a broad range of applications. The sensors resist contaminating vapors such as organic solvents, chlorine and ammonia.
