The DIO-PC is no longer available. Please see our OMG-PCI series as a possible substitute or

OMEGA Engineering offers two lowcost, high channel capacity digital input/output TTL interfaces: the DIO-48
48 digital I/O lines) and DIO-168 (168 digital I/O lines) for the IBM PC/XT/AT
and compatibles.
The channels may be configured through software as inputs or outputs in groups of
eight. All I/O lines are TTL level compatible. In addition to the digital I/O
lines, the DIO-PC-48 includes six 16-bit counter/timers and the DIO-PC-168
includes three 16-bit counter/timers.
Included are software routines written in Turbo Pascal, C, and BASIC for DOS
which may be incorporated into the application program for access to the I/O
modules.
The DIO-PC-168 includes a DOS resident driver program, which allows I/O
module access via high level calls and is easily implemented from programming
languages. The driver is optional with the DIO-PC-48.
For connection to the outside world, OMEGA offers optional outboard products
for the DIO-PC-168/48. The DIO-SSS-24 accommodates 24 solid state I/O
modules. If high level outputs are not required, the DIO-STB-24 screw terminal
board may be used. The DIO-PC-48 can accommodate up to two outboards,
while the DIO-PC-168 can work with up to seven outboards. See section H for
data on these products.
With DIO-CD24 Series accessory boards, the-digital I/O cards may also be
used for reading and generating analog signals. Both analog inputs and outputs
feature 12-bit resolution with 0 to 10 V, 0 to 5 V and ±5 V ranges. Software is
included in “C,” Pascal and BASIC for interfacing the DIO-CD24 boards with
the digital I/O boards. The DIO-CD24 requires 5 V power.
