OMEGA’s new modular series general purpose compact pressure switches, offer a proven design for stationary or mobile hydraulic applications. Applications include factory automation, balers, compactors, overload controls, machine tools, hydraulic power packs, railway, and marine applications. PSW8 series is available in a wide range of configurations. Low pressure ranges feature a diaphragm pressure switch design. Higher pressure ranges feature a compact piston design. A SPDT micro switch will change state on increasing pressure at your set-point, and will reset when your pressure decreases back below the set-point by the amount of the deadband.

SPECIFICATIONS
Set-Point Repeatability:
    Diaphragm Models: ±2% typical
    Piston Models: ±1% typical
Setpoint Adjustment: Upon delivery, set-point is in the middle of the adjustable range. Turn adjustment screw CW to increase, and CCW to decrease.
Hysteresis/Deadband: Less than or equal to 15% of maximum adjustable range
Contact Rating:
    1 Amp: Gold-plated 0.1 A @ 125 Vac, 01. A @ 30 Vdc
    5 Amp: Silver 3 A @ 250 Vac, 5 A @ 120 Vac or 0.4 A @ 120 Vdc
Wiring:
    Pin 1: Common
    Pin 2: Normally closed
    Pin 3: Normally open
Switching Frequency: Maximum 30/minimum for diaphragm models; maximum 60/minimum for piston models
Ambient Temperature Range:
    Diaphragm Models: -20 to 80°C (-4 to 176°F)
    Piston Models: -40 to 80°C (-40 to 176°F)
